By approaching to create sustainable solutions with a system mapping, we can predict the increase or loss of business value and discover hidden and often non-obvious potential for change.

The Systems Thinking approach reminds us that each sustainable innovation will affect the stakeholders, business model or value chain. Therefore, it is worth checking the possibilities and choosing the most beneficial one.
The tools used during the workshop will allow us to map a big picture (system) of the intervention and look at it from the perspective of a telescope. By identifying critical relationships between system elements such as people, processes, and change signals, you may discover non-obvious potential and implement a focused intervention.
Using this methodology, you can quickly identify missing relationships, leaky touch points, process bottlenecks, or negative impacts on people and the environment. The identified gaps may be ideal leverage points in a system where you can make a sustainable change with minimal effort and cost. After finding the intervention points, you will try the design levers to create potential solutions.

What you gain?

  • Learn how to map your business ecosystem to find the potential to make a sustainable change that pays off.
  • Use a tool with which you can argue the introduction of sustainable solutions.
  • Find out why it is worth mapping the needs and roles of stakeholders from the wider business environment.
