Agnieszka Polkowska

Designer, design curator, and educator with a Ph.D. in design. Her work focuses on exploring and understanding the dynamics observed in nature through speculative design and sustainable practices. Dean of the Department of Design at Academy of Art in Stettin, where she runs a speculative design studio and a design research course. Polkowska also carries out interdisciplinary courses at the Total Design Management postgraduate studies at Warsaw University of Technology. Agnieszka has had pleasure to cooperate with such institutions and initiatives as the Sustainability by Design at the Folkwang University of the Arts, Architecture AND Design at the Technical University of Munich, Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia, Gdynia Design Days, Łódź Design Festival and Institute of Industrial Design. She has also carried out R&D projects for clients such as Samsung, Ceramika Paradyż, Desa Unicum, Biżuteria YES, eobuwie.pl and many others.
