The #nofilter exhibition encourages to go beyond all that outer layer of a brand, look inside and analyse what stands behind it, what is being done underneath the mask.
In the age of perfect promotional photos, marketing campaigns created in pristine exotic locations and social media where photos are usually enhances with filters, it is easy to forget or even not be aware of the state of the world around us. Looking at those images, it could be assumed that we live in a perfect world. However, if we assume that Earth is an operating system, we keep getting the ERROR alerts more and more. It is up to us whether we click the Skip button or Show More and Fix the Problem.
The exhibition presents initiatives which are undertaken by few chosen brands that aim to change the direction in which garment and other industries are going. The exhibition uncovers the wider aspect and impact of our everyday choices on the place we live in.
Dryft was born from a passion for timeless style of menswear fashion, good design and proximity of the sea. It is a store for men who make conscious choices regarding what they wear and what they surround themselves with. Every offered item was carefully curated in order to make a coherent style. The chosen brands are unique in what and who stands behind them. Often these brands make effort to be as sustainable as possible. Dryft is something more than an ordinary store, it was inspired by similar concepts from cities like Stockholm, Berlin or Amsterdam to create a place full of inspiration, passion and excellent service based on human relations.
